This is side lighting because the source of light is hitting the subject from the side !

Soft Lighting  This is soft lighting because there isn't a lot of lighting hitting the subject , also the subject is not really in focus . P.C : Yesenia Pineda Hard Lighting  There is hard lighting hitting the subject .This is because you can see a black spot with is the subjects shadow . P.c : Yesenia Pineda Back Lighting  The light is coming from behind of the subject . P.C : Yesenia Pineda Front Lighting
